In brief: I am an Italian citizen and "global resident". I have lived 7 years in Norway, 12 in the UK,  and spent several month working in USA, China and Vietnam. I now reside in the beautiful Republic of San Marino, the oldest republic in the world! I have over:

15 years successful experience providing strategic and operational leadership globally, as executive and advisor.

I am an entrepreneurial and results oriented industrial engineer. I have a strong, verifiable (ask me for my clients references) and global track record of performance, growing profits and optimising resources in start-up, high-growth, turnaround and high-paced environments (e.g. JIT).

I am passionate about the linkages between strategy and operations and I have developed over time a rich portfolio of business and process engineering and change management work across multiple sectors.

I am recognised by some as a thought leader in outsourcing, operations management and management research. Backing that statement are my roles as:  adjunct faculty at various Universities around the world,  Editor-in-Chief of the (scientific) Journal of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing; and author of over 50 publications, among which a book by the title: Doing Research That Matters: shaping the future of Business (based on interviews with Nobel Laureates and Thinkers50 Management Gurus).
